  1. Nurse managers must work with staff to foster respect of different lifestyles. As a future manager, how can you provide culture-centered leadership to influence your team members and care for a culturally diverse patient population? Please incorporate concepts of cultural humility, sensitivity, or competence and one cultural theory into your response.  
  2. Use Kouzes and Posner model to show how the nurse manager on a 30-bed rehabilitation unit would decide the best approach to finding out the cause of increasing urinary tract infections (UTIs) on her unit over the past 6 months.

  4. The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) of an acute care hospital is interested in becoming a Magnet-designated hospital. The CNO would like to create a strategic plan for nursing excellence. If you were the CNO, what would the mission statement for nursing say? What would the vision statement for nursing say? What would be the core values of the nursing department? Create an Incivility Statement/Policy. 
  5. You are assigned some risk management activities in the nursing facility where you work. In investigating incident reports filed by staff, you discover that this is the third incident this week in which a patient has fallen while attempting to get out of bed and sit in a chair. How would you begin to address this issue? Decide how you would start a more complete investigation of this issue. For example, is it a facility-wide issue or one that is confined to one unit? Does it affect all shifts or only one? What safety issues are you going to discuss with your staff, and how are you going to discuss these issues? Do these falls involve the same staff member? 
  6. Analyze differences among research, evidence-based practice, practice-based evidence, comparative effectiveness research, outcomes research, and quality improvement. How do these practices affect nursing and patient outcomes? 
  7. Review the educational program TeamSTEPPS. Identify two strategies you can incorporate into your practice. Present your rationale for selecting those and create an action plan to incorporate those strategies into your practice.

Culture Centered 2

The healthcare industry is one extremely diverse and open to various cultures. Every person of a specific culture or not is in need of medical assistance at one point as illnesses do not discriminate people based on Age, race, or ethnicity. As a nurse manager, embracing a culture-centered leadership goes a long way in the growing establishment and forming a peaceful and coherent working environment. Therefore, culture-centered leadership applies to both the patients and other healthcare professionals within the facility. As a manager, the primary approach to solving and enhancing a culturally competent healthcare community is allowing internationally recognized and widely spoken languages (Aggarwal, 2016).

Another culture-centered approach is ensuring that nurses working in the institution understand and are well-spoken in at least two diversely spoken languages. This approach will ensure that a culturally diverse patient population is comfortable with the service and can get a diagnosis, treatment explanation, and quality care from nurses within the facility. The nurses being able to understand the patients from different cultural backgrounds makes service delivery easy, and the quality of healthcare becomes assured (Roshanzadeh, 2020).

To apply cultural competence among the nursing staff as their nursing manager, I would employ each to embrace the functionalism cultural theory. This theory implies that every aspect of society, including different cultures, languages, and functions, works coherently for society’s survival. Hence it is up to the staff to understand different patients from a community of diverse cultures to ensure they offer the best services and allow the healthcare institution to grow (Rahnama, 2017). Through structural functionalism, the quality of services will increase, allowing for a healthy community. It is then everyone’s responsibility to ensure a healthy society through cultural competence.

Despite leading concerning innovation all over the world, Apple is in dire need of strong marketing vision to spearhead the company forward regarding development. It is important to acknowledge the fact that Apple has outstanding pricing strategies with commitments to designing each foundation of its hardware to produce compelling customer electronic experience.

Primarily one of the areas that need improvement in Apple is pricing. Despite the fact that Apple offers the best user experience in their products it is also however crucial to acknowledge the fact that their products are getting increasing exorbitant in developing economies. By all accounts, it is not possible for everyone to afford their products, therefore, cutting down the prices a little bit would contribute profoundly in leveraging the companies’ profits regarding distribution and sales.
