Educator Self Care Presentation

Educator Self Care Presentation

Description

Self-care is an important part of being an effective educator. For this assignment, you will create a PowerPoint presentation that you could share in a presentation with co-workers on the benefits and need for self-care for educators.
Directions

Include 5-7 slides on the following topics:

  1. What is self-care? Define and describe completely.
  2. What are the benefits and needs of self-care? What does research say?
  3. How can self-care help you be a more intentional educator?
  4. Give examples of self-care exercises/activities. Include your self-care bingo card and any insight from this week’s discussion post.
Make sure to:
  1. Include a title slide for your presentation.
  2. Create an engaging presentation using images and minimal writing on each slide.
  3. Include speaker notes at the bottom of your slides that you would use to talk about and elaborate on the slide topic. For example, if your slide was about self-care, your speaker notes should reflect what you would say if you were presenting this as a presentation to a group of co-workers.
  4. Include at least one resource from the course lesson content or the Rasmussen library. Include APA citations to all sources used for this assignment. Cited sources should be relevant, credible, and appropriate. Include one additional slide with your references.
  5. All work should be formatted professionally and use correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
